Mr Ranjit Chandra Chakraborty has been with the Water Resources Department for a period of more than 30 years. He has been with various positions in the department. He retired as Secretary, Water Resources Department, Govt. of MP, where he represented Govt of MP at various State & National level meeting and policy matters.  He has also been  Additional Secretary to H’ble Chief Minister of MP, Govt. of MP assisting in various  Technical and Policy matter for various State Departments & Interstate  matters. He has been a key person in finalizing the MoU of "Ken-Betwa Link Project". As Secretary Control Board for Major Irrigation Projects, he has Supervised monitor the Erection of   spillway radial gates in Bansagar Interstate Project.

Mr. Prashannajeet Chakraborty is an Electronics Engineer having an experience of over 19 years in Planning, Designing, Operations & Implementation of Projects under various National and International Funding agencies. Prior to this, he has been with few of the best Consulting organizations AECOM, DHI & CES.

He has planned and executed few of the biggest survey project of India including  Brahmaputra and Kosi. He has played pivotal role in project's critical stages.

Apruban is having 13 years of experience working as National and International expert. He has working experience in India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal.  He has been involved in several applied research and consultancy work in multidiscipline techno economic feasibilities, water availability, flood frequency and rainfall intensity analysis, storm water modelling, modeling of sewer system, dam-break study and emergency action plan, flood modelling, flood mapping, reservoir sediment study, flood forecasting, reservoir inflow forecast, preparation of guide curve for reservoir, river morphology study, flood management expert, design of bank protection, spur, groins, cost estimate and FIRR, EIRR calculation etc.  Apruban has sound theoretical knowledge along with good analytical skills and proficient in statics, financial analysis, numerical modeling and GIS, MIKE11 / MIKEHydro River / MIKE21C / MIKEFLOOD / MIKE21 /MIKEURBAN/HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS. He has experience on Practical project experience from numerous river and reservoir projects in South Asia, substantial expertise in MIKE 21C model systems, including advanced graded sediment and morphological modelling. The leading modelling expert in many reservoir sediment studies in South Asia over the last decade of demonstrated project management skills contributing in proposal writing, bidding, overall planning, scheduling, budgeting and liaison for the projects.  He has imparted  lots of training to different organization like CWC, WAPCOS, CWPRS, NIH, IITs, NPCIL
